UF Veterinary Hospitals Canine Influenza Now In more than 45 states H3N2 canine influenza virus is a very contagious virus that infects dogs.
It cause a respiratory infection in dogs and is also known as the “dog flu”. Common symptoms include sneezing, nasal discharge, and frequent coughing.
If your dog is exhibiting these symptoms then you should CALL your veterinarian. DO NOT go to the clinic without calling first as it is VERY contagious.
Vaccines are now available in our area.
